I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Haptics and VR Lab at Kyung Hee University, South Korea, working with Prof. Seokhee Jeon, who also supervised my Ph.D. research. My research lies at the intersection of haptics, psychophysics, artificial intelligence, and multimodal interactive systems.
My work investigates how humans perceive and interpret touch through force, vibration, motion, and physical interaction. I conduct psychophysical experiments and perceptual modeling to analyze the relationship between interaction signals and human sensory experience, with the goal of developing perceptually grounded haptic modeling and rendering frameworks. My expertise includes AI-driven and language-guided haptic interaction, particularly multimodal systems that translate human descriptions, perceptual intent, and interaction data into realistic and meaningful haptic feedback.
Research Interests: Haptics, Human-AI Interaction, Multimodal Interfaces, Psychophysics, AI-driven Haptic Modeling and Rendering, and Language-guided Haptic Interaction
Research Collaborations: During my Ph.D. and postdoc, I collaborated with researchers and industry partners including KAIST, Hyundai, Konkuk University, ETRI, KRISS, and Sejong University.
